Citizens need to know that unborn babies in the 3rd-trimester are able to survive outside the womb and deserve to have the opportunity to be born alive and live with parents who are able to take good care of them. “Saving Jane & Joe” brings awareness to the moral fact that up-to-birth-abortion should not be legal in the 3rd-trimester pregnancy.

Some people object to making 3rd-trimester abortions illegal. Physical deformities, genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome, and severe birth defects are the main reasons why some people think 3rd-trimester abortions should be allowed in certain situations of great tragedy. ProLife should be prepared and ready to respond to this kind of objection.

  1. Sometimes a genetic test gives an incorrect reading.
  2. Sometimes a baby is diagnosed with no brain, but the baby actually does have a brain. A mother told her story of not aborting her son with no brain. She said her son did have a brain at birth. It was scrunched up. Over time, her son’s brain stretched back out to normal, and he is now living a normal life.
  3. Parents with a Down Syndrome child often give the testimony of seeing the blessing of incredible character where the child loves deeply, accepts others unconditionally, expresses great joy, and thinks the best of others.
  4. Miscarriages before twenty weeks, stillborns after twenty weeks, and early childhood tragedies all deserve to be treated with compassion. These babies should be given a proper burial and treated with dignity.

Sometimes what seems like might be a tragedy turns out not to be a tragedy at all. In other situations, a real tragedy can turn into a blessing. Life should be valued for however long we have it. Always say no to late term abortions because 3rd-trimester babies can survive outside the womb, and they deserve an opportunity to live and be loved.

An Unborn Has the Right To Live

In high school, I used to think that if a woman did not want to be pregnant, then she should make sure she didn’t get pregnant. I still believe women carry that kind of responsibility. It was in high school when I began to learn more about two opposing sides: pro-choice and pro-life. I knew I was pro-life, but I thought it might be wrong to take away another woman’s right to decide. In high school, I was what I would call a pro-lifer who was sitting on the fence.

One day, soon after graduating from high school, I heard a pro-life woman talking on the radio. She was explaining how many people are on the fence about whether or not (induced) abortion should be legal. She went on to explain how a baby in the womb is still a human being who is a living person,  alive with a heartbeat, and that the unborn baby should have a right to be born alive. Once I began to think it through, it became clear to me that the unborn baby is always innocent, and it was wrong to take away the unborn baby’s right to be born alive. I also began to see the need to educate young woman and actually, I began to learn that all people need to be educated in every generation.

Soon after high school, I began traveling from place to place, asking people to make a decision for pro-life. It was then when I became aware of many other struggles that existed. Many concerns came up when I discussed the pro-life issue in person. It was clear that people needed to be educated about many different topics such as ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and induced abortions.

In every generation, we will need to educate not only young women, but all people. An unborn child is not just a clump of cells. An unborn child is not a mistake to be thrown in the garbage. An unborn child is not dead tissue.

An unborn child has its own body. An unborn child is a human being. An unborn child is a person with the right to live with loving parents who are willing to feed, clothe, and take good care of the baby.

An unborn’s body is not your body. An unborn’s body should be loved and protected by law.

Congratulations to Missouri’s big win this week! Missouri knows how important it is to protect the innocent. In Missouri, an unborn child will most likely live to see his or her first birthday. 

National Pro-Life Bridges Day Friday 6/28/19

On Friday, June 28, 2019, pro-life supporters will be holding up pro-life banners on bridges that overlook highway traffic. The banners will have a message such as “Abortion Takes a Human Life” for millions of commuters to see. Just to clarify, the message refers to “induced abortions,” and not miscarriages a.k.a. spontaneous/accidental abortions.

Suggested banner size is 6′ by 3′.

Suggested times are during heavy traffic hours between 6am-9am and 3pm-6pm.

Suggested teams of 5 people per banner will help rotate volunteers who stand next to the banner.

There is no comparison between a criminal who receives capital punishment for a crime committed and an innocent unborn who has committed no crime. One is guilty and the other is innocent. Unborn children are both a person and a human being who have the right to live, according to the 14th amendment:

“…nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

How To Have Life and Peace

Be encouraged and blessed by Romans chapter 8.

The main point of Romans chapter 8 is to teach the children of God the important obligation of living a life being led by the Holy Spirit of God (Ro. 8:12-14). In order to do that, the children of God need to seek what the Spirit desires (8:5). Paul compares a sinful person who is controlled by a sinful nature to a child of God who is controlled by the Spirit of God.

SEEKING SINFUL DESIRES – A sinful person has his mind set on sinful desires (8:5). A mind set on sinful desires is hostile to God, does not submit to God’s law, cannot please God, and it leads to death (8:7-8).

SEEKING WHAT THE SPIRIT DESIRES – Sons and daughters of God who live according to the Spirit has his or her mind set on what the Spirit desires. A mind set on what the Spirit desires brings life and peace (8:6). 1.) The Spirit will help the children of God pray and intercede for the saints (8:26-27). 2.) The person who has the Spirit of Christ must put to death the misdeeds of the body and not be a slave to fear (8:13-15). 3.) As an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ, we can share in his glory if we share in his sufferings while we eagerly hope for the redemption of our bodies (8:17-23). 4.) For the person who loves God, nothing will separate him from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (8:28, 35-39).

In this life, we can actually be conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (8:29). For the children of God who are being transformed by the renewing of their mind, from sinful to righteous, they will be graciously blessed because God is for them not against them (8:31-32).

Beautiful Love

Does a man or a woman ever get married to someone they do not know? No. Before anyone gets married, he or she takes the time to get to know the other person. In a similar way, when we take the time to get to know the beauty of who God is and what good things He has done in the past, what good things He is doing in the present, and what good things He will do in the future, then it becomes much easier to respond to Him in a loving way with praise and adoration.

Though you have not seen him, you love him;

and even though you do not see him now,

you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

for you are receiving the end result of your faith,

the salvation of your souls.
